How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
Dryopened Walk-In Tubs does not have installers on staff. When you call or send a request, you are connected with an independent local provider in our network. That provider is a separate business. They answer your questions, look at your bathroom and write the quote.
What the Provider May Ask
Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider give you a useful price.
- What kind of project are you considering: walk-in tub, conversion or walk-in shower?
- Who will use it, and what are their mobility needs?
- What is the size of the bathroom?
- Is the home wood-frame, an older craftsman or a townhome?
- Is there a crawl space or an older floor under the bathroom?
- What is your timeline?
Photos of the bathroom can help.
Questions Worth Asking
A budget-minded plan starts with good questions. Try these:
- What exactly is in the written quote, and what is not?
- Does the price include removal, plumbing, wall work and cleanup?
- What happens if you find rot or damp behind the old tub?
- How long will the job take, and how long will the bathroom be out of use?
- What are the warranty terms, in writing?
- Which permits are needed, and who handles them?
Compare Written Quotes
Get at least two if you can. Line them up item by item. A lower number may leave out work that a higher one includes. Fair comparisons come from matching scope, not just totals.
You Stay in Charge
A referral is not a contract. You can ask questions, say no, or talk to another provider. Nothing is decided until you sign a quote with the provider you choose.
